Hi Lana
Wanted to thank you not only for the to amazing dogs we purchased (Frankie and Gambler) but more importantly for all of your advice after our purchase! You’ve been amazing throughout this buying of our first mini-Assisi. Answering tons of questions, and just making yourself available for your knowledge on your pups. Your client service is truly world class and their should be no doubt that if or rather when we are ready for another beautiful pup Halfpints is where we will get that pup. Thanks again Larry Cockrell |

Gunner aka Tux
Hi Lana, The brown is really coming in on his cheeks. He is a beautiful puppy. My wife and I love him like he is our child. I'm so thankful that tri colored brown eyed male is not as popular as a blue merle. There was something about him when I first saw his pictures, I can't explain it. But I had a feeling and I knew he was the one. I was right. He can be so very sweet, affectionate and cuddly. He loves going on little walks outside and is already becoming quite the little guard dog. He's very sharp, often driven. He loves playing with his brother and antagonizes him whenever he can. He has taken the dominant role even though he is much smaller. Ornery as hell, but so damn cute. I look forward to coming home after work because the greeting I get melts my heart. he sits, and shakes, lays down and kinda plays dead. Thank you, Brent Fields |
Yogi
It was very nice meeting you as well! We are so excited to welcome Yogi into our home, thank you for allowing us the opportunity! The picture they took at the Vet of him is super cute, I thought you would enjoy. I tried to get a picture of him with his thanksgiving collar on for a little bit but he kept moving, typical Aussie lol. Things are going really well! Yogi just had his 12 week vaccines yesterday, is doing amazing with potty training (the jingle bells on doors really helped), and he has mastered sitting on command - now on to lay down & stay. Thank you, Brianna Thompson |

Huck aka Arrow
Hi Lana While driving up to pick up the puppy yesterday we were kicking around names. The name Huckleberry came to Susan, seems to fit with Finn. Huck and Finn Huckleberry Finn. He is doing really well. Yes he eats like a horse. Going to the bathroom just fine, stools are formed, no diareha so far. He is really spunky today, wants to play and follows us around. He and Finn are getting along really well. They are getting to be buddies pretty quick. We are both tired, he did well last night for his first night here. He would wake up and cry a bit, Susan had his crate next to the bed and was able to talk to him and touch him and he settled back down. Nothing a nap won't fix. All in all we are thrilled to have him here, he is making a difference in world. I attached a few images for you to look at in this email and have posted them in Facebook also. Take Care Ed and Susan Kendall |
Mel
Mon, Dec 28 at 9:23 AM
Hi Lana and happy holidays! I hope all your pups are doing well and I wanted to share an update on Mel. First of all, Mel is the most popular puppy on any street. He loves people (maybe a little too much!) and can make friends with any dog too! He is so handsome and only getting better looking as he grows. He is shaping up to be the absolute perfect compact size. He’s currently 4.5 months old and 13 lbs. He’s small with a big personality, and is overall pretty fearless. We made sure to start training him from day 1, and it really shows. He has the best temperament, people are always impressed that he is so young. He doesn’t bark at anything, other than when he wants my attention 😂 He has tons of energy but is also able to turn it off and cuddle with us in bed, on the couch or wherever we are. He has loved his crate since day 1 so we have had major success crate training. He loves to be close to us all the time, but we were able to leave him with a sitter for four days and he had no problems at all. He brings me and my boyfriend so much happiness I don’t know what I’d do without him! Please feel free to use me as a reference for any future puppy buyers. You raise beautiful, smart, well rounded puppies (did I mention beautiful?) Thanks so much for everything. Attached are some recent photos of Mel! Carre Orenstein |

Banquo aka River
Hi Lana! Happy Thanksgiving! We are so grateful to have Banquo as part of our family. He is handsome, smart, silly (but very obedient!) and a great friend for our boys! Thank you for all you do to raise such amazing pups! The vet loves him - great personality and easy to work with, and he really is a beautiful boy! Again, we are so grateful. He is exactly what we were hoping for! He is the happiest boy! Oh, and weighing in at 22lbs just before his 8 month birthday! Take care, Jessica Montgomery |
Maggie aka Rain
Hi Lana,
An update on our second Half Pint mini Aussie!! Maggie has been a true delight and it was the best decision to get a second Aussie! She is an amazing dog. She is 8 months now and gets along so well with Jessie. They are a dynamic duo. She has the best temperament!! So sweet but with enough sass to make life fun. She also passed her puppy class with flying colors. She loves playing ball each evening with Jessie in our backyard and enjoys just spending time with us each day. Thank you for guidance on getting our second Half Pint Aussie!! It has been a smooth and seamless transition from a one to two dog household! Oh by the way, she absolutely loves the cats and gets so excited when she sees them coming around the corner or hanging out on the couch :) So much fun! Best Regards, Lezlie and Jimmy Duckett |

Jessie aka JoJo
Hi Lana,
Just wanted to tell you how our sweet Jessie is doing! He is almost one year old now and we are so pleased with him. Such a smart boy- always curious, learns so quickly, and loves his food puzzles!! He did super well in his puppy class this year and passed immediately. He quickly took to bell training to go outside as a small puppy and now even rings the bell if he notices one of our cats wanting to come in house!! We are just so blessed to have him. He loves just spending time with us and we love having him. Thank you for your advice and help with him throughout the process of getting our first mini Aussie! Best Regards, Lezlie and James Duckett |
Parker aka Omar
Hi Lana-
Parker had us the first moment we saw him. It seems that everyday we all bond more. He loves to have fun and has such a wonderful sweet spirit. He has really become our little best friend and wants to go everywhere we go. Parker has been a special addition to our family and we can't thank you enough for making sure you saved him for us. We always wanted an Aussie, so when we started searching for local breeders, we found Halfpint Mini Aussies. We had no idea that this breed came in smaller sizes. We reached out to Lana and our wonderful journey began. Lana is extremely knowledgeable about this breed. She puts her heart and soul into every one of her dogs. Because of her love, passion and controlled approach to breeding, Lana produces some of the best dogs you’ll ever have. After meeting Lana, Kiah and Magnum we knew we had to be a part of this family. Thank you Lana for giving us TWO of the best doggies we could ever have hoped for. We are grateful for all of your support & guidance, and for allowing us to be a part of your extended family. You are truly a wonderful soul and it is our honor to know you. Gigi and Coco are loving, sweet little dogs. They are the most solid-healthy, happy, playful and smartest dogs we’ve ever had. All thanks to great/responsible breeding and love too. Thanks again Lana for everything…xoxox…J Mike & Luana Penzabene |

Lana, Thank you again!!! All is well here in the Robles house! We are all so happy and she will be so loved!! Kids are doing amazing with her! Marlee can sit, lay down, wait, come, leave it, drop it and we are currently loose leash training her 😁- she is very smart and so eager to learn! She is potty trained and kennel trained... but we don't leave her in her kennel, we have a doggy door that can freely come in and out... she is such a sweet puppy! Yes she is part of the family! My kids call her their sister ❤️ She weighs 16.5lbs now... she weighs more than Hank Gabby |

Chico
Hi Lana, Just a quick note to say thank you again, and we love our boy, Chico! He’s been home two weeks and is already filling the house with fun!?He saw the vet when we got home and she said he looks great too. Everyone who sees him falls in love, as he has never met a stranger, running up to everyone to bestow kisses and cuddles. He is so smart he already has “sit” down pat and is working on the “down” command too! Most of all he loves his doggy brother and sister and Jim who have stepped up to the challenge of playing a LOT with a small bundle of energy. Thanks for introducing us to the new “life of the party” at our house! LOL Lisa & Jim 5/7/18 |
Finn (Benson)
Just an update: Finn is very smart he learned to sit and lay down my second day with him! He also has learned to use the dog door and only has an accident every once in awhile! Very impressed with him! He is doing very well! He isn’t a big fan of water or the vet but loves to chase leaves, play with sticks and get belly rubs! He also recently learned how to roll over and has been ‘rolling over’ all over the house! Kaitlynn Johnson 5/7/18 |

Just wanted to keep you update on our sweet pups life. Jewel loves going to work with Andrew everyday. She isn't shy anymore, and she had quickly learned her commands. She has mastered Sit, Shake, Down, Roll over, Stand up, Stay, and to your room. Boy is she a lover! Couldn't be more thankful that we made the decision to add her to our family!

Hi Lana,
Just want you to know that Power Wagon is doing great. He is our sunshine baby. Daylan is absolutely in love with him and my son Ty stayed home all last weekend to dog sit while the others went to a roping in Globe. Ty said Pow-Pow is the coolest dog he has ever seen. Ethan calls him Pow-Pow. This little guy is my favorite pup ever! He's just so funny we laugh all day at him. He is very friendly and loves everyone that comes through the door Thank you so much! Lana,
This puppy is doing great. The vet gave him a clean bill of health. He is such a good boy. He is just perfect for us. He won't be still for the perfect pictures but he is really beautiful and smart. I can't even tell you how much we are enjoying him. I wanted a dog esp for Barney and he is perfect for both of us. We love this dog. He knows his name. Sit, come and is just a really good dog. Thank you so much! Cathy and Barney |
Hi Lana- We got Roscoe neutered this past week and everything went well. He is 18inchs tall and 24 pounds. I've attached a couple pictures as well as a picture of the certificate. I will mail you a copy as well. Thanks again for everything. We love him. He is doing Very well overall. He is the most talkative dog we have ever had. Not barking, howling or growling just talkative. It is so funny. Laura Snopek |
Annabelle - Shirley & Boone litter 2017
Annabelle after puppy class!!!!
She weighs 9.5lbs and is 13” tall, body to floor. Puppy classes are going well. She was scared to death for the 1st class and did not move. There are 8 puppies, Annabelle is the oldest and of course smallest. There is a Great Dane and Mastiff in the class, Annabelle just walks under them to get around, it is hysterical. The Mastiff protects Annabelle from the “yippie” dogs who jump all over her. The Mastiff pushes them away from her. Annabelle’s attention span in class is very short, too much going on for her. But at home she does repeat everything she has learned. She now sits, lays, come, leaves it and responds to “lets go” She is extremely bright which most Aussies are and learns quickly. It only took her a day to learn the doggy door and to potty outside. Only one accident in the house, the other puppies in the class are still learning that skill. We walk her twice a day and most of the morning she chases the birds that fly into the backyard. Annabelle still has the “cuddly” disposition. She is very calm with very mild disposition. The vet was amazed how calm she was when being checked out. She still remains that way, everyone loves her, she draws a crowd wherever she goes!!!
Thanks for the info, we will look into Diamond for her.
Thanks for the help

Maverick - Shirley & Boone litter 2017
Hello Lana,
We wanted to give you a update on Maverick. Wow, what a whirlwind these last 2 weeks have been. After his arrival to the house, the poor boy was very home sick for his AZ family. The feel of grass was foreign to him, he now stretches and rolls in the grass. He HATES his crate but is very slowly coming around to it. He cracks me up, he will stare at it, as if he his wishing for it to disappear. He slowly creeps up and steals the towel as if to rescue it. Feeding time is the funniest, because he wants his food but not in the crate. ( feeding in the crate in hopes to associate with good things, not bad. Lol )
His housebreaking is going well. We had a lil issue with his cues at first, but he has trained us very well. Lol. We are working on bell training now. We live in a two story, and our living spaces are on the second floor, so it was a lil confusing for him.
He has mastered the commands of sit, no bite, settle, quiet, release/drop it and leave it. We are working on come, but he still believes that one is optional. Ha ha.
He loves Lola the pug, and Cooper our lab x , I can't say they are big fans yet. They are seniors and set in their ways, but are coming around slowly.
He is smart, loving, and endless amounts of energy. We wouldn't have it any other way.
We love the heck out of this silly boy. His confidence grows each day, as does his drive and intensity but we are redirecting all that energy. He is my constant companion and hate for me to be outta his sight. He is learning he will survive if I close a bathroom door. Lol.
He is so incredibly loved by our family.
Thank you,
Marty and Angelique

Good Morning Lana,
Marty and I wanted to send you an update on Maverick. He is such a love bug with all the boundless energy of a 1 year old Aussie. He is athletic, smart and just like a teen tries to push the limits. He loves all of his toys, but his favorites are the ball and frisbee! He has mad skills with the frisbee. He still is my shadow and is a mommas boy. He feels the need to keep everyone on schedule , even on days off. Lol. He had his first cut this weekend. He looks like so cute. His coat is still coming in slowly. Only issue we have is he thin for his size. 22.5 lbs and approx 17.5 inch at the shoulder ( he is not good about letting me measure him). He is long bodied. With age he should fill in a lil bit. We will send another update with proof of neutering. Thank you again for our sweet boy. As you can see he’s spoiled rotten! Marty and Angelique |

Shirley & Boone 2016 Litter
'Lana-
As we approach Mollie's 2nd birthday, we had to write and let you know we can’t imagine life without her. Mollie is a wonderful addition to our family and we love her so much!
Mollie is the neighborhood goodwill ambassador; she greets everyone on her walks and has a few people (she selected) that are her favorites. We have a neighbor who does not like dogs who keeps treats in her garage just for Mollie. Whenever she sees Mollie on her afternoon walk she comes out to bring her a treat. Mollie delivered Christmas cookies this year to her favorite friends in the neighborhood.
Mollie is not a barker, instead “talks” to the neighborhood kids and dogs when they get close to our yard. It’s hysterical! Mollie can definitely communicate and lets us know when she needs or wants something. She uses her eyes to signal when she wants a toy off the top shelf. She loves her toys, she’s a powerful chewer!
Mollie is wonderful with our 4 grandkids!
Mollie loves watching Westerns with her Pop and occasionally tries to herd the horses on TV.
Mollie travels very well and we take her with us as often as we can when. A few times we’ve had to kennel her and she does great.
If we could manage it, we’d have 10 Mollies! We hope to add another Half-pint Aussie to the family when the timing is right. For now, Mollie is enjoying being Top Dog. She is everything you told us she (and her breed) would be and so much more!!
Thank you for our wonderful girl!

Parker (blue merle)
Lana,
Just a quick note to let you know how much I love my boys! Ryder is my sidekick for sure; he sticks by my side like glue, I never have to worry about him wandering off. Even though I call him, there really isn’t a need as he is right on my heels or lying within view. He thinks my husband is okay but everyone else he sticks his nose up at, guess you could call him a momma’s boy. Now Parker on the other hand is the complete opposite, he loves everybody and if you aren’t paying attention to him, he will get your attention! He is the sweetest most loving dog to everyone he meets. He always is nonchalant, laid back and whatever happens happens! We love to go camping, walking and quad riding so the boys travel a lot. Ryder is not real thrilled about riding in the truck but he compromises by lying on my bed in the travel trailer. Parker has been known to visit other campers by welcoming himself inside if the door is open. The expressions that Aussies have are one of a kind, my husband often calls Ryder wiggle butt as he just can’t help but show his enthusiasm when we get home. Parker loves to lie on his back with his feet in the air, that dog can sleep anywhere! Our grandson is very active at 9 years old and both dogs keep an eye on him when we are out camping. It takes the stress out of camping with a kid when your dogs watch out for him! One last note, Ryder loves to sneak a sip of beer every chance he gets, so don’t set your beer down! Loving our Aussies! Carol and Mike Burdick |

Duece
Lana Bowers@ Half Pint Aussies,
Lana, wanted to let you know how much Duece has been a blessing to me after losing my wife in 2015. I cared for my wife daily as she was wheelchair bound the last 10 years of her life, we had been married for 39 years. After my wife’s’ passing, I had a very difficult time being alone in the house and being retired, I had nothing to keep me busy. Essentially I was devastated with the loss and needed a companion. Duece has filled that feeling of utter despair as she takes me out walking daily, she rides in the passenger seat of my truck and now she actually sleeps on my wife’s side of the bed. Duece was a couple of years old when I got her, it took us a few months to be such great friends but she and I have both adjusted wonderfully. I never could have handled a puppy as I am now 73 years old and really appreciated finding an older dog that was more settled and not as needy as a puppy. Duece keeps me in shape and she is a very good girl when we walk around the lake, she is often complimented on how beautiful and well behaved she is. I am so very thankful for Duece, she has become a very loyal and loving friend. Sincerely, Riley Brandon |
Shadow3/7/16
Hey Lana, Just a short note about Shadow. He is so smart, handsome and affectionate. He was house broke in less than 2 weeks. He loves to be held, also is independent about being outside. He is always happy and ready to please. He gets really excited when he learns something new and then ready to learn something else. In closing we love Shadow, he is the best dog we could have gotten. Thanks, Chuck & Kelly Kaiser |
Roy
Hi Lana,
Just wanted to let you know how much we are enjoying Roy. He is in the house now and just sits on the floor at Danielle's feet. If she moves, he follows her and is ever watchful of her daily activities. He spends time outside with the other dogs and has really found his place in our pack. To this day he hasn't had an accident in the house or even had to go out in the middle of the night. He sleeps in his kennel next to Danielle and is super quiet all night long. He has been a dream baby! He is funny as when we go to pick him up, he immediately rolls onto his back so we will scratch his tummy. He loves to be held and snuggled and when we are done scratching on him, he just jumps onto the floor and lays at your feet. He doesn't want to sleep on the couch, but enjoys when we put a pillow on the floor so he can put his head on it. While he still is learning his name and doesn't know to come when called, he follows the other dogs and is learning quickly. He even plays with the Great Pyr mix with everyone else every morning. He is good with the horses and stays out of their pens, but has learned to jump up on the bales with Molly and get some extra love every morning when I feed. He is devoted to Danielle, but has come to enjoy all of us and he follows Brian outside each morning to be let out. He jumps on me as I walk to the barn to feed the horses first thing in the morning and I haven't gotten after him just yet as it is progress to have him get that close to me. But, we will be working on staying down as he gets better about coming. All in all, he has adjusted well. A week ago we had 35 teens at our house for a camp counselor overnight and he was wonderful. He got a crash course in socialization and the kids just loved him. They fought over who could hold and pet him. He just enjoyed the whole thing. He has been to the office with me and has a fan club there as well. He has NEVER had an accident and we are quite impressed with him. When I get home from work each day, he comes up with the other dogs and as soon as I open my car door he is waiting to get some ear scratches. You should be very proud of him. He is just as good as it gets. We are thrilled with him and couldn't be more satisfied. This weekend there will be dozens of teens at my house again for camp and they have already warned me that they want to scoop him up and hide him in their sleeping bags. Just know that he is well loved and doing well. Thanks again for him. We are so grateful to have found you and Roy.

Hi Lana - got your text - thank-you. We love our Mitzie. The kids cannot wait to meet her. She is doing the puppy program with shots at the vet and is scheduled for a chip and nueter iin January. Her training is going well - she is walking on the leash - she rarely has indoor accidents - she is a little biter we tell her "no bite" and stops and will lick. We adore her - I call her my baby and Steve calls her little Aussie - We can not get over how soft she is - and how agile -athletic she is. We love our Aussie. She is all we wanted in a pup. I must admit - I spoil her alittle. Looking forward to an awesome puppy christmas with the kids. What a beautiful little girl - hope all is well with your pups on the East Side of the State. Enjoy the Season.. Terri Steve and Mitzie Blue
Hi Lana - Mitzie is doing well - we adore her. Please send me your address again as I need to send the spade paper documents. We love our MItzie Blue. Hope all is well with you and her sisters. We will travel to michigan in two weeks and mitzie will see cows on the farm and ducks on the lake and squirells will probably be the most exciting for her. Talk again Terri - Steve and Mitzie Blue

Hadley & her rabbit Winston
Thanks for the package with the health records. I named her Hadley, and she is doing really well. It seems like she has grown a lot in the last week, and is already spoiled. Her first puppy class is tonight. She went to play with the hunting dogs this week and my dad and his hunting buddies think they'll be able to train her to pheasant hunt. She has been having fun with the fall leaves, but wasn't too sure about the frost this morning. It will be fun to see what she thinks if the snow tonight and tomorrow.

Below are some new pictures (2017) of Hadley and her family.
Beau
Beau finally found his voice last night. Other than a almost non audible bark when Brad played with him, he hasn't barked. Last night Brad went out and when he came home, I had fallen asleep on the couch and Beau by the Arcadia door. I didn't hear Brad come in but Beau did and wow he started barking. He didn't charge at Brad but it was an alert bark. Very proud of our boy. But then Beau was a bit timid again and didn't go to Brad for about 10 minutes.
Also this AM Brad got up around 6 to let him out. Brad was watering plants and Beau wanted to play and he told Brad so. So cute. Dale

Anne
Hi, Just wanted to check in and see how you are doing. We are doing good and still enjoying Ann. She is a wonderful little dog and part of the family. Her and Lyla have become good companions. Ann runs around so much some days her paws get sore but she has to be involved in everything we do. Hope all the family is doing ok and I am sure you are enjoying the grandson.
Have a very Happy Easter. Love J and Anita

Jonesy
Hello Lana,
So sorry I havent emailed you back or sent any pics yet. The pup is doing well, full of energy and keeping me busy! I have an appointment for her to be spade the first week of April. (My vet had recommended I originally get it done in Jan or Feb but had a close friend pass away and got me behind schedule on everything.) I still need to send you proof of the procedure I believe, so I'll be in touch and I'll send some pictures very soon.
Hope everything is well with you,
Amanda
Whats your website again? Just wanted to look at the pics you had on there and couldnt remember what it was.
Hoping to see what her sisters turned out to look like. Lol. I ended up naming her Jonesy. It was my boy name I had picked out but we just ended up keeping it for her..
thanks,
Amanda
